Restaurant POS for Pizzerias

A restaurant POS for pizzerias: half-and-half toppings, delivery zones, slices and whole pies, and phone orders that land in the kitchen right.

Illustrative image slot. Hands plating a dish at a pizzeria pass. No real restaurant or person is shown.

A pizzeria is a modifier machine. Size, crust, sauce, toppings by half, extra cheese and a dozen sides, and most orders still come by phone. The POS has to build that fast and show the oven crew exactly what to make.

These needs come from general kitchen knowledge. Bring your own and we will check them against your menu in the demo.

A busy hour

Think about a Saturday at seven. The phone rings with a large pie, half pepperoni and half mushroom, plus an order of garlic knots for a delivery across town. The counter has three slices to ring and a walk-in asking about the oven time. The cook at the make line needs to see the halves written clearly, the oven worker needs the bake order, and the driver needs the address. One missed word on the ticket means a remake, and a remake in a pizza shop costs ten minutes of oven time.

What pizzerias need from a POS

  • Half-and-half toppings

A pie with pepperoni on one half and mushroom on the other must print as two halves, not a jumble of words. Topping placement by half or whole is a core need.

  • Delivery zones and drivers

Pizza delivery depends on where the address is. Uber Eats and DoorDash orders arrive on the same screen, and you choose who covers the delivery fee. Your own online store handles pickup.

  • Slices and whole pies

Slice shops sell by the piece at the counter and by the pie on the phone. One menu should hold both without double entry.

  • Bake timing

The oven is the bottleneck. A kitchen display routes pies to the make line, then the oven, then the box, so the order of work is visible.

How Zorveta One covers it

How it covers this: toppings go on the whole pie or on either half, and print that way. Delivery orders from Uber Eats and DoorDash arrive on the same screen as phone and counter orders, with you choosing who covers the delivery fee. Lunch combos and happy-hour prices apply on their own and end on schedule.

Where orders come from

Illustrative mix for a pizzeria: phone, counter, own online store and delivery apps. No figures are shown, and yours will differ.

What to bring to your demo

Bring a half-and-half order, a delivery order with a note and a slice order. Ask to see how the make line and the oven worker each read the same ticket, and how an out-of-stock topping disappears from every channel.
