NFC ordering: tap to open the menu

Tap a phone on a table tag to open the menu and order, with no code to scan and no paper menu to wear out.

NFC ordering lets a guest tap a phone against a tag on the table to open the menu, instead of scanning a code. A tag never needs reprinting when the menu changes, and a QR code on the same table works as a backup for phones that cannot tap.

When you would use it

  • “Guests with a dim table light struggle to scan a printed code.”

  • “A bar wants a tag on each stool with no paper to wear out.”

  • “A restaurant wants one tag per table that never needs reprinting when the menu changes.”

How it goes, step by step

  1. 1

    Place a tag

A tag sits on the table or stool.

  2. 2

    Guest taps

Their phone opens your ordering page.

  3. 3

    Order as with QR

From there the flow matches QR ordering.
