Scheduled orders: orders for later
Take catering and next-day orders now for pickup or delivery at a set time, and have them reach the kitchen at the right moment.
Scheduled orders let a guest or a staff member place an order now for a later time, so the kitchen sees it when it needs to start. Large catering orders, office lunches and next-day pickups wait in a list and appear on station screens at the prep time you choose.
When you would use it
“A customer wants forty samosas for Saturday noon and calls on Wednesday.”
“An office orders lunch for twelve at 12:30 each Friday.”
“A kitchen wants tomorrow's big order to appear on the screen at the right prep time, not tonight.”
