Kiosk
Self-order kiosk: fewer typed orders
A guest-facing kiosk where people build and pay for their own order, sent straight to the kitchen screen.
The self-order kiosk lets guests build and pay for their own order on a screen. The order goes to the same kitchen screen and printer as counter orders, and the kiosk reads the same menu. Staff can take over any kiosk order from the POS.
When you would use it
“A taco counter has a line at noon and one register.”
“A coffee shop wants guests to customize drinks without telling the barista three times.”
