Restaurant POS
Split checks: by seat or item
Split a table's check by seat, by item or evenly, without voiding and re-ringing the order.
Split checks lets a server divide one table's order by seat, by item or into equal parts at the moment the table asks. The kitchen ticket does not change, only the bills do. It works in the POS and on handhelds, and each new check pays separately.
When you would use it
“Six friends ask for separate bills after dessert and every one of them had a different drink order.”
“A couple shares starters but wants their own mains on separate cards.”
“A manager has to fix a split after a guest changes their mind at the card reader.”
How it goes, step by step
1

2

By seat, by item or into equal parts.
3

Each new check settles separately.
